Compliance Level with the International EIP Framework

To support industrial parks in improving operational efficiency year after year, the Project conducted an assessment of Tan Do Industrial Park (Tay Ninh) against the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Parks Version 2.0.

The results show that Tan Do currently meets 57% of the framework’s requirements and has the potential to increase its compliance level to approximately 65% in the coming years.

EIP Transition with GEIPP Support

As part of GEIPP’s technical assistance, Tan Do Industrial Park in the South has been selected as a pilot site to test the Programme’s EIP measurement and reporting system. With clear potential for improvement—reflected in its EIP Framework v2 scoring—Tan Do will receive targeted support to apply standardized assessment tools and reporting methodologies.

The pilot outcomes from Tan Do will form an important basis for scaling up the national EIP measurement and reporting system to other industrial parks across Viet Nam. This will help strengthen transparency, enhance governance, and build the operational capacity needed to implement the eco-industrial park model nationwide.
