On June 25, 2025, at the ESG Forum 2025 themed “Dual Transformation Towards Eco-Industrial Parks” held in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Nguyen Tram Anh – National Project Manager of the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme in Viet Nam (GEIPP Viet Nam), UNIDO – presented an overview of the programme’s implementation across localities such as Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai since 2020.
Her presentation highlighted the importance of the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Parks (developed by the World Bank, GIZ, and UNIDO in 2021) in helping industrial parks and enterprises improve resource efficiency, and achieve better environmental, economic, and social outcomes. Ms. Tram Anh also emphasized that the EIP model is an effective tool for supporting ESG reporting and enhancing competitiveness in response to growing demands from global supply chains.
The event, co-organized by The Saigon Times and Green Transition Consulting & Training, served as a key platform for aligning international initiatives with national strategies for sustainable industrial development.
