About Amata City Bienhoa Joint Stock Company
Its establishment tracks back to the year 1994. Formerly a joint-venture between Amata Corporation PCL., Thailand, and state enterprise Sonadezi of Vietnam, it was converted into a Joint Stock Company in 2009, namely Amata (Vietnam) Joint Stock Company, with Amata holding 89.99% of shares, and Sonadezi holding 10% of shares. The company develops and manages Amata City Bien Hoa industrial park with an area of 700 ha, whereof manufacturing zone is covering 514ha and a commercial zone of 19 ha, used for the development of Amata Commercial Complex.
Amata offers a state-of-the art infrastructure, including dedicated utilities. It operates its own stable power plant and manages the supply of water and treatment of waste water according to the company’s own zero-waste discharge principles. Roads are spacious and made with reinforced concrete, the most suitable surface for heavy load transport.
In 2017, Amata (Vietnam) Joint Stock Company changed the name to Amata City Bienhoa Joint Stock Company, with shareholding structure remaining unchanged.
RECP AND IS ACHIEVEMENTS AT COMPANY-LEVEL
UNIDO and other national and international experts have provided technical assistance to the park management and to manufacturing companies inside the industrial park, to promote resource efficient and cleaner production (RECP) and to develop industrial symbiosis.
